Privacy notice / informational website

Privacy for a small, static reading resource.

Pathly.world is an independent informational and educational website about eSIM technology and travel connectivity. This notice explains the limited kinds of information that may be involved when you read the site or choose to contact the editorial address.

Scope of this notice

This privacy notice applies to the Pathly.world website. The site is not a telecom operator, mobile carrier, eSIM provider, reseller, marketplace, activation service, or official support channel. It does not provide mobile service, manage a visitor’s phone, or hold a mobile line account. Accordingly, it does not need information such as a SIM profile, mobile line credentials, device serial number, identity document, or roaming status to provide its educational pages.

Pathly is a static informational resource. The page content can be read without creating an account, entering a mobile number, or submitting a transaction. We ask visitors not to send sensitive credentials, private account information, financial details, device identifiers, or identity documents in an editorial message. If a question concerns a particular device or line, the appropriate official manufacturer, line, network, or venue channel is better positioned to help.

Information involved in ordinary website use

When a browser requests any website, technical information may be processed by the hosting and network infrastructure to deliver the page. This can include an IP address, browser and device information, requested page, approximate time of request, referring page, and technical logs necessary for security, performance, or error handling. The exact information, retention, and handling can depend on the infrastructure that delivers the site. This notice does not make a promise that such infrastructure never processes technical request data; it describes the site’s intentionally limited editorial purpose.

The pages include externally hosted font resources and direct photograph URLs from Unsplash’s image delivery service. When your browser loads those resources, the relevant third party may receive technical request information as part of delivering the resource. Their practices are governed by their own notices. Pathly does not use those resources to create a visitor profile or to claim that it can identify a reader.

Cookies, storage, and analytics

Pathly does not present a visitor sign-in, shopping, or customer account system. The site is designed without a user-facing account database, transaction form, or behavioural advertising interface. A browser, hosting environment, or third-party resource may still use technical mechanisms necessary to display a page or protect a service. Browser settings can be used to inspect, limit, or clear cookies and local storage according to the options available in your browser.

We do not describe generic technical request information as a precise personal profile. If the site’s technical arrangements change materially, this notice should be updated to describe a relevant change plainly. Visitors should review the notice periodically and should use their browser’s privacy controls for preferences over local storage, site permissions, or third-party resources.

Editorial email

If you email [email protected], the message normally includes the information you choose to provide, your email address, and technical email metadata handled by email systems. We use editorial correspondence to review corrections, feedback, content questions, and general website enquiries. Do not include information that is unnecessary for that purpose, especially account credentials, mobile line details, or personal documents.

Editorial messages may be retained for a reasonable period when necessary to review, respond to, or document a correction. They may be deleted when no longer needed for that purpose. An email message is not a support ticket, service relationship, or confidential technical case file. We cannot verify a mobile line, inspect a phone, or intervene with a network through this address.

How information is used

Any limited information involved in visiting the site or writing to the editorial address is used for ordinary site delivery, security, communication, correction review, and improvement of the educational material. It is not used to create a mobile service account, make a decision about access to telecommunications service, or infer a reader’s travel plans. We do not sell editorial correspondence or use it as a substitute for an advertising audience profile.

Links and third-party sites

Pathly may link to manufacturer documentation, responsible organisations, image hosts, or other resources where a reader can verify a changing fact. A link leads to a separate site with its own policies and controls. Review the privacy notice and terms of any external site before providing personal information or relying on a service. Pathly is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, availability, or security of third-party resources.

Data security and limitations

Reasonable technical and organisational care is important, but no internet transmission or system can be described as risk-free. Do not use ordinary email to transmit sensitive credentials or documents. If you believe information has been sent to the wrong destination, contact the relevant email service or organisation promptly and take the appropriate account-protection steps. This informational site cannot perform account recovery or security intervention for external services.

Your choices and contact

You can choose not to email us, can limit the information in a message, and can use browser controls to manage local site data and permissions. For a privacy question about Pathly editorial correspondence, write to [email protected] with the subject “Privacy question.” For a question about a device, mobile line, or network, contact the manufacturer, responsible provider, or network operator instead. This notice should be read alongside the Terms.
